The standard software has the possibility to configure your own inlays. This functionality is based on flat inlays in which the products lie flat. With additional software it is also possible to create inlays for special shapes that do not lie flat, such as molded parts.
Configuring an inlay is very simple. However, there are a number of details that need to be taken into account. Think of the distance between the products in combination with the stroke of the gripper, two-point grippers, three-point grippers, etc. There are various tools available to help with the design of inlays. Think of a manual for custom inlays and gripper fingers, template CAD files that can serve as a starting point, and a digital calculation sheet.
